How Gratitude Increases Your Happiness and Improves Your Health

With Thanksgiving being this week, I find myself reflecting on all I have to be thankful for: including YOU! Thank you so much for being part of my community.

Whether you’ve been to one of my classes, been a personal training or life coaching client, attended one of my talks or workshops, spoken online, or have enjoyed my writing, I am truly grateful for you!

I love this wellness journey I’ve been on! Not only my personal journey, but helping you with yours – being stronger and healthier mentally, physically, and spiritually. What a gift it has been and continues to be! SO AWESOME!

The incredible thing about gratitude is that once we realize all the things we have in our lives and all the things we can do, we create a feeling of contentment within ourselves. And this feeling of contentment is exactly where we want to be every day. If you want less stress and want to be happier, give thanks!

You can’t worry and be thankful at the same time, it’s physiologically impossible.

I love this clip below. The Science of Happiness – An Experiment in Gratitude. The “kid” in the lab coat cracks me up!

Feel free to do something similar to what they did in the above video and/or say daily gratitude affirmations. Below are 10 to get you started. Remember, we reap what we sow, so choose to put good out there.

10 Gratitude Affirmations
