5 Exercises To Stay On Track This Holiday Season

With the holidays being a busy and stressful time of year the first thing that seems to get kicked off of our to-do-list is our workouts.

Exercise is one of the things that should stay on that list even if it is a 10 minute workout and here’s why…

BENEFITS:
Reduces stress – stressed, who’s stressed?
Increases circulation – always a good thing especially with how cold it is out!
Enhances your mood by releases feel good chemicals – oolala, yes please!
Gives you a sense of accomplishment – yippeee for me!
Works your heart, lungs and muscles – your body will say thank you!

Below are 5 exercises you can do anywhere at anytime for a quick 10 minute workout.

EXERCISES:
1. Jumping Jacks
2. Squats
3. Mountain Climbers
4. Push-ups
5. Criss Crosses

Do each exercise for 1 minute. If some of the exercises are too challenging for a full minute do them as long as you can and make it a goal this month to work up to a full minute. After you do all 5, repeat and do them again for a full body 10 minute workout. Get this workout in several times a week, doing something is better than do nothing, your body and mind will thank you!

Remember you can do this at a very basic level if you are just getting back into exercises or if you are in great shape hit it hard and do each exercise as fast as you can. You can even make a challenge out of it for yourself and see how many of each you can do, then on the second set see if you can match it or beat it! Game on peeps! 🙂

Post below on how many times a week you did the workout and if you challenged yourself, how.

Keep that light bright!
Shine On,

Ali
